SMUT Press is a collective print-publishing project founded by Jordan Hearns and Jack Scollard.
Developing on from our collaborative photographic zine ‘Reverie’, released in 2020, our aim with SMUT Press is to spotlight, support and commission artists to produce printed matter, with a particular focus on platforming artists who are queer identifying.
SMUT Press was borne out of a belief that our friend’s work deserved much better recognition and freedom. The success of our press lies in the collaboration, mutual co-operation, and the support of our wider community.
Works by SMUT Press have been featured in The Face and WOO. Our printed matter can also be found in both the Bishopsgate Institute and Photo Ireland archives.
